Eclipse Aesthetics has been looking forward to the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21st for decades! To “Sale-A-Brate” we have a huge, two-day sale going on August 21-22 only! We have our viewing glasses, some of which were shared with some of our lucky customers who ordered recently, and we are ready for a celestial viewing party.
Simply put, the Moon passes between Earth and the sun, and an eclipse is caused by the moon casting a shadow onto our planet. Look here to find out what percentage of the eclipse your area will be able to see. The good news is that no matter where you are, everyone in the continental U.S. will be able to see at least a partial eclipse. In fact, if you have clear skies on eclipse day, the Moon will cover at least 48 percent of the Sun’s surface.
At no time during or after totality should you look directly at the sun without protective eyewear. NASA recommends “eclipse glasses” from three manufacturers: Rainbow Symphony, American Paper Optics, and Thousand Oaks Optical. These have met a particular standard, ISO 12312-2, which provides sufficient protection from harmful light. Check here for NASA’s Interactive Map to help you figure out where and when to see it, and how to stay safe during Eclipse2017.
Celebrate it with us and take advantage of the Eclipse Two-Day ‘Sale-a-Bration’ to commemorate the event. To learn more about what is available from the Eclipse library of solutions, contact your local representative or Customer Care at: (800) 759-6876.
