Eclipse eVIVE™ (ESWT) sometimes referred to as Low-Intensity Shockwave Therapy (Li-SWT), utilizes an electromagnetic approach to delivering shockwaves through a hand piece containing a ballistic projectile. As the projectile accelerates through the electromagnetic transfer of kinetic energy, an acoustic shockwave is sent through the applicator head. Radial (wider) shockwaves are then absorbed into the superficial target tissue and diffuse as they travel deeper.
Shockwaves absorbed into tissue create a therapeutic mechanical injury.
Eclipe eVIVE™ creates unique radial pulses by using a projectile 5 times heavier than the standard air compressor systems and a reduced final velocity upon contact with the applicator. Though the force of the accelerator and the mass of the projectile are efficient down to 35 mm (1 3/8 inch) depth. With its electromagnetic SoftShot technology, Eclipse eVIVE™ allows for peak energy to be absorbed in a way that is more comfortable than compressed air or pneumatic devices.
More comfortable + same energy = Great Results and Happier Patients that return for follow up treatments — that’s the benefit of Eclipse eVIVE’s™ SoftShot technology. Energy is maintained by a longer pulse rise time. This eliminates the need for unpleasant high peak pressure amplitudes. The lower peak and longer rise time minimizes the stinging and painful sensation that is normally associated with this type of therapy. Increased patient compliance results in easier treatments at higher energy levels, leading to successful therapy.
Each shockwave can be finely tuned between 60-185mJ. Electromagnetic delivery of shockwaves are more controlled in general. Additionally, applicator heads of varying spot sizes and shapes can be quickly changed out without the use of tools, allowing for fully tunable treatment depths.
The ergonomic aluminum hand piece with high mass and ample inertia reduces vibration and kickback compared to compressed air systems which reduces strain on end-user clinicians. The design allows for single-handed use allowing the second hand to be free to adjust treatment parameters in session.
Pulses are triggered using a foot pedal as opposed to an on/off button, ensuring the hand piece is in full contact with the tissue when the end-user activates the system
The Eclipse eVIVE™ is available with an aluminum storage and transport case. It allows a practice to easily store all equipment and accessories. The premium case provides easy mobility of the device making it convenient to carry from one location to another and ease of treatments at any time and any place.
The new Eclipse eVIVE™ touch screen interface is innovative and intelligently designed to provide quick adjustable settings on the fly and custom presets.
The 7″ color touchscreen display is easy to read and to navigate with your fingertips.
A powerful, mechanical energy generator with high percussion, digital control, and low mechanical wear provides for an extended lifetime of reliability and performance. We guarantee our hand piece for two million pulses.
